First time going here and only the second time I’ve had Afghan food so I’m far from being an expert. Everything we had was delicious! We had the vaziri kebab and a couple of soltani kebab plates. Very flavourful with the seasonings and their spicy tomato sauce went so well with the kebabs. I loved their green tea as well. I think there were some spices in it as well. I detected some cardamom. Lovely experience! Highly recommended.

Mezbaan has the best Afghan food in all of Ottawa. The Mantu is incredibly delicious and the hospitality makes you feel right at home. Highly highly recommend this restaurant! I rarely give a 5 out of 5 rating, but this place deserves it!

We were looking for Uzbekistan or Kazakhstan restaurant to try difference food, but not available. So we settled with Afghanistan food. Surprisingly, very good. We order Uzbek rice with lamb, #5, Mantu, and cheese naan bread. Great price, quality food, friendly service, and clean restaurant. We are definitely returning to the restaurant, because there was one dish that almost every table ordered the we did not try. We went back again for dinner and again, great food, great service. We also ordered milk pudding (not sure about the name) and they just gave us as a complementary. 10/10

We had a great experience here. Food wasn’t very spicy and therefore my baby also enjoyed. The service was rather dry according to me. I understand the poor ladies serving were tired but that doesn’t mean you serve with a stern poker face.

Really good food and very nice staff. Tender chicken. Tried the lamb shank and it was very tender and had a nice light flavour. I really liked the rice, salad and table bread that came with the lamb shank dish. We always have a great time here.

Authentic Afghani cuisine, Qaboli Uzbeki ( rice with raisin, carrot and beef) Beef Qorma, mixed kabab with sauce and salad; delicious. the taste was amazing and the kabab marinated in a great way and very juicy. I ordered the family pack of 5 people and it was more than enough. thank you for the quality service, highly recommend🙏🏻
